Andrew M. Crawford Andrew M. Crawford, 42, of Schenectady, NY passed away on Sunday May 1, 2022 at his home with his family by his side, after a long courageous battle with esophageal cancer. Born on May 6, 1979 in Schenectady, NY, he was the son of Edward and Susan Voris Crawford. Andrew was a lifelong area resident. He graduated from Schenectady High School in 1997 and went on to attend Corning Community College in the criminal justice program. Andrew worked as the bar manager at The Horses Lounge in Schenectady for many years until going to work for Voris Landscaping in Schenectady. Andrew was avid Kansas City Chiefs and NY Yankee fan and he loved to play pool, darts and softball. He was a communicant of St. Luke’s Roman Catholic Church, Schenectady. Survivors include his wife, Tabitha Duryea of Schenectady; his parents, Edward and Susan Crawford of Schenectady; maternal grandfather, Bob Voris of Schenectady; his children, Abigail Crawford and Caleb Gates-Crawford; his bonus children, Patrick, Jonathan and Mari-Elizabeth (Tommy Brennan) Duryea; grandson, Kolt Duryea; his brother, Thomas (Morgan Montayne) Crawford; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 5 until 8pm at Griswold Funeral Home, 1867 State St., Schenectady. A Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Friday at 9:00am at St. Luke’s Roman Catholic Church, 1241 State St., Schenectady followed by interment at St. Josephs Cemetery, Schenectady. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
