Doreen ‘Dore’ Fee

Middletown Springs, Vermont - Doreen ‘Dore’ Fee, 66, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at Glens Falls Hospital with her loving sister at her side. Born on February 16, 1956 in Morrisville, Vermont, she was the daughter of Robert and Sylvia (Pawulsiak) Schillinger. Dore was a graduate from Rutland High School, class of 1974. She was affectionately known as the ‘cat lady’ because she loved her cats; she also enjoyed reading. In addition to her parents, her husband, William Fee and nephews, Jeffrey Maples and Christopher Maples predecease her. She is survived by her sister, Sue Maples of Cunningham, TN; her niece, Jennifer Maples and her children, Emily Gardini of Cunningham, TN and Tommy Gardini and Mikey Gardini of Michigan; her nephew, Jason Maples of Cunningham and his children, Krista Maples of Kansas, Jacob Maples of Dickson, TN and Brandon Maples of Cunningham, TN her cousins, Mike Parker, Jerry Parker and Mary Marcotte, all of Vermont. Doreen is also survived by her companion, Ken Larson also of Vermont. Funeral services will be held privately. Those who wish to send a remembrance in her name may do so to your local animal shelter.
