Scotia- Leonard H. Chabot “Lucky Edie”, 94, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 around 11:30am at home with his son Keith, daughter in law Tricia and grandson Nicolas by his side. Born in Rouses Point, NY, he was the son of the late Lorenzo and Henrietta Chabot. He enjoyed a career of more than 35 years at the Watervliet Arsenal as a Machinist and Inspector. After his retirement, Leonard worked as a School Bus Driver with Brown Transportation for over 15 years. Leonard was an avid hunter and a man of many talents. He was a carpenter, electrician, gunsmith and a plumber to name a few. A “Jack of All Trades”, he could fix anything. In addition to his parents, Leonard was predeceased in 2013 by his beloved wife Sandra Chabot. He was also predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his son, Keith (Tricia) Chabot of Herkimer; daughter, Kim (Jerry) Cummings of Troy and his grandson Nicolas. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends of the family. The family will receive relatives and friends Monday 10am-12pm, followed by a service at 12pm at The White Funeral Home, 264 N. Ballston Ave., Scotia, NY 12302. Interment will follow at Park Cemetery, Scotia.
