Griswold Funeral Home Niskayuna – Lynn M. Schramm, 78, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 26, 2022. Born in Manhattan on November 11, 1943, she was the daughter of Carl and Anna (née Eberhardt) Muller. She was raised and educated in the Catskills, a graduate of Onteoro Central High School in Boiceville, NY. She married Richard Brazell and the union was blessed with two children, Michael and Tracy. She later married F. William Schramm who passed in 2004. Lynn enjoyed a career with Kingsway Community, where she formed many long-term friendships. She retired as an Executive Coordinator after 30 years of service. Lynn loved to have fun, whether it was dancing, playing cards (especially Bridge), reading or stirring the giggles of her cherished grandchildren. She savored the role of “Grammy” more than anything and shared her love whenever possible. Lynn was an active member of the St. Paul the Apostle community and Rosary Society. Faith was a major component of Lynn’s life. She was the devoted mother of the late Michael Brazell, who passed in 2003, and Tracy Brazell Rafferty (Jay). She is survived by her grandchildren, J.T. and Drew Rafferty and Carter and Devin Brazell as well as several nieces and nephews. She is also predeceased by her brothers, Karl Muller and John Muller. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 8 am to 10 am at Griswold Funeral Home, 1867 State St., Schenectady followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am, celebrated at St. Paul the Apostle, 2777 Albany St., Schenectady. Interment will take place in the spring at Bushkill Cemetery, West Shokan, NY.
