Troy- Oscar Columbus Bracey Jr., 88, formerly of Albany, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Albany Medical Center with his daughter by his side. Born in Portsmouth, VA, he was the son of the late Oscar C. and Doretha (Bonds) Bracey. Oscar proudly served his country in the US Air Force during The Korean War, and was Honorably Discharged in 1954. In addition to his parents, Oscar was predeceased by his wife, the late Thelma Bracey. He is survived by his only daughter, Brenda Bracey, 5 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; his honorary son, Mark Bracey and by his close family friend Denise Clark. Interment with full military honors will be held privately amongst family at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Light’s Funeral Home, 1428 State St., Schenectady.
